Our region (Central America) has been affected not only by climatological hurricanes but also by political, economic, and social hurricanes that come and are devastating. We live in a kind of continuous fragmentation; in terms of schedules, travel, information that reaches us, etc. For this work, I recover a bit of the concept of collage, which for me is one of the fundamental concepts of art in the 20th century and why not in the 21st century. We obtain a kind of painting that at first glance gives an idea of abstraction, which if examined in greater detail, figurative elements can be found – these have interested me all my life, for example, part of the local flora (Flowers) – but this time the flora has suffered a disturbance; a change.
